I am elated to announce MY FIRST GIVEAWAY! I've entitled it: "Bling in the New Year" as I felt the upcoming New Year was the perfect occasion to host my first giveaway and include sparkly presents.
This blog has proven to be such a wonderful outlet for me. I have immensely enjoyed all of the fun comments and wonderful friendships I have formed since the blog's inception and I look forward to more delight in the upcoming year.

Here's my most meaningful resolution for the year: To finally and absolutely take ballroom dancing lessons (specifically Argentine Tango lessons). I have dreamed about this for years and have done nothing to pursue it . I guess you could say that my overall resolution is to pursue my passions in 2011!

For this year, I resolve to be environmentally responsible. I will adopt a simpler lifestyle to regulate my carbon footprint. Scaling back my purchases on processed food, clothes, furniture will lower down the carbon cost of producing these items.
I will reduce the amount of plastic bottles and disposable items I purchase by bringing my own water bottle and reusable cloth bags. With less waste from my home, there would be less greenhouse gases from the landfill that receive my garbage. I will teach my family to reduce, reuse and recycle.

My resolution? Well, I have many of these, but my no. 1 is care and spend more time with my mum, who will turn 63 years in March and who, a few years ago, defeated a terrible illness. She's the light of my life, my best friend and I am so happy that she is healthy now.
